We were asked to use blue sky innovation strategies around reimagining the headphone. Using materials as a guiding light, we sought to explore innovative mechanical assemblies, reach an improved standard in comfort, and express a new aesthetic language around the theme of soft material transitions.

We explored material qualities that are playful, curious, and speak to the client’s target demographic; these findings shaped the design directions that became the form and function of the headphones.
